We are delighted to invite you to our next auction, which will feature a collection of antique engravings, etchings, and maps from renowned artists and cartographers. This exclusive event will present a curated selection of historical masterpieces, including works by Nicolas Béatrizet, Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Bernard Picart, Cornelis Dusart, and Johannes Janssonius.
Highlights include:
- The Sacrifice of Iphigenia by Nicolas Béatrizet (1553) – A rare and precious etching after a design attributed to Michelangelo.
- Jerusalem by George Braun and Franz Hogenberg (1575) – A striking city view from the "Civitates Orbis Terrarum" collection.
- Antique Map of Greece by Johannes Janssonius (1650) – A beautifully hand-coloured maritime atlas map.
- Filosofo in Piedi e Due Figure by Giambattista Tiepolo – A captivating etching from the "Vari Capricci" series.
Automated Bidding Options
Once the live auction begins, you can take advantage of two bidding options:

- Online Bidding: You can place bids online until the day of the auction, ensuring you can participate from anywhere in the world. Remember to monitor your favourite lots on auction day to ensure you can quickly react if you are outbid.
Auction Schedule
The timed auction will occur on April 8th. Each lot will be presented automatically every three minutes, and the counter will reset every time a new bid is received.
