Oil on board painting by Sister M. Conrad, an American nun based in NYC and active in the mid-20th century. The artwork represents a shepherd boy and girl under a tree. Signed by the artist, dated 1944, Belgique in the lower right. Wooden frame. Additional info on the backside. The lot was exhibited as part of the exposition of works by nuns teaching art in New York, Long Island, and New Jersey, which was held in 1951. Collecitble Fine Art, Religious Christian Painting.
