EGYPTIAN BLUE GLASS FLASK
18th Dynasty, Ca. 1539 - 1292 BC. A Stunning, blue glass flask with a flattened, globular body and a cylindrical neck culminating in a rounded rim highlighted in yellow. Two applied handles extend from the shoulder to the neck. The body is decorated with intersecting white and orange trails forming a symmetrical star-like pattern radiating from the centre. Mounted on a custom-made display stand. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.Size: 100mm x 80mm; Weight: 90gProvenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex.
