EGYPTIAN GOLD RING WITH FAIENCE BEZEL DEPICTING HORUS' EYE
New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, Ca. 1550 - 1295 BC. A gold swivel ring set with a green-glazed steatite rectangular plaque incised with an udjat eye. The reverse bears a hieroglyphic inscription reading "May the beauty of my lord remain". The shoulders of the hoop are decorated with coiled wire detailing.
