COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN GLASS INLAYS
Ca. 332 BC - AD 200. A collection of four rectangular glass inlays with floral and vegetal designs. The one in the left top corner has a dark blue matrix with a row of white six-petalled flowers, each with a red and yellow centre. Another features a pale blue background with yellow six-petalled rosettes with a red centre. A third piece has a white ground decorated with alternating red and yellow oval motifs framed in black, interspersed with green leaf-like elements. The final inlay displays a yellow ground with a row of small black eight-petalled rosettes, each centred with a red dot.
