FOUR EGYPTIAN GLASS INLAYS
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A group of four glass inlays, likely from a funerary mask or sarcophagus, probably representing parts of eyebrows. For similar see: La bellezza femminile nell'antico Egitto; Aboca Museum edizioni, Firenze Museum, n. 2401. Size: 32-60mm x 15-40mm; Weight: 40g Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex. Bonhams, 21925, Lot 272, 01 Apr, 2014, London; formerly in the UK private collection, formed during the late 1950s and early 1960s. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
