PHOENICIAN ELECTRUM AMULET CASE WITH HEAD OF HORUS
Ca. 600 - 400 BC. A tubular electrum amulet case surmounted by a falcon head of Horus with a rounded beak, incised eyes, and a textured surface resembling a nemes. A sun disc is positioned on top of his head, with a uraeus emerging from the front. The back of the disc has a small perforated loop for suspension. The cylindrical body features a raised collar below the falcon’s neck and another at the base.
