ETRUSCAN TERRACOTTA FEMALE HEAD
Ca. 400 - 200 BC. A terracotta head of a female with finely modelled facial features. The almond-shaped eyes are slightly bulging, with gently arched brows above. The nose is straight and well-defined, while the full lips are subtly parted. The cheeks are softly rounded, and the chin is delicately contoured. Wavy hair frames the face, swept back into a chignon, with a headdress positioned at the crown. Mounted on a custom-made display stand. For similar see: DeVoti Etruschi.
