GREEK BLACK GLAZE KYLIX WITH STAMPED LEAF MOTIF
Ca. 400 - 200 BC. A black glazed terracotta kylix with a shallow body stamped on the bottom with a motif of six leaves. On the middle part of the walls two horizontal strap handles. The cup is seated on a short round-shaped foot. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1856,1226.132.; Miscellaneous number: Miscellaneous number: 1911.02.0014 (Accession Number) (Accession Number). Size: 60mm x 270mm; Weight: 455g. Provenance: Property of a central London gallery, previously acquired on the Dutch art market; previously acquired on the Belgium art market; Daniel Bogaerts, Brussels, 1995.
