MEROVINGIAN SILVER-GILT RADIANT BROOCH
Ca. AD 480 - 530. A silver-gilt brooch with engraved motifs on its main section. The brooch has a rectangular central part with a prominent ridge and meander patterns. The bottom of the design is shaped like a stylised animal muzzle, while the top is hemispherical and adorned with a geometric line pattern. The brooch is topped with five protruding knots.
