He studied art in Paris, France, lived and created in the United States as well. Today Alkara is produced alternately in Israel, Germany and the United States. His paintings are sold and are in public and private collections in Israel and around the world, including in museums such as the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Museum of New Art in Haifa, the Hirschhorn Museum in Washington, and more.
