Designed Invitation - Wedding of Cousins from the Brad-Pfalpel Families. Safed-Haifa, 1919
A printed invitation with a beautiful design - the wedding of Rabbi Yisrael Brad, son of Rabbi Moshe, to Mrs. Bracha Brad-Pfalpel, daughter of Rabbi Shimshon. The invitation was printed in Safed, but the wedding was intended to take place in Haifa.
The Pfalpel family is an important family in the holy city of Safed, and one of its ancestors served as a judge during the days of Rabbi Shmuel Heller, the legendary rabbi of Safed.
The invitation was printed in golden ink.
On the back of the invitation, early printing attempts are noticeable.
[1] printed paper leaf with handwritten additions. 20x12.5 cm.
Condition: Very Good. Light stains. Stamp of the archive of the activist Yosef Geiger.
Please note: The translation to English was performed using artificial intelligence. In any discrepancy between the Hebrew and English versions, the Hebrew version prevails. For any clarification questions, feel free to contact us.
