Chinese Celadon Foo Lion Statues + Lobed Vase Pair
Pair of Chinese light green celadon foo lion / foo dog statues depicted traditionally w/ the male leaning his left paw upon an embroidered ball (in imperial contexts, representing supremacy over the world) and the female restraining a playful cub in her right paw (representing nurture). Also included is a pair of lobed / begonia-shaped Chinese celadon vases w/ a 4-character seal mark on the bottom. Vases are approx. 8.5" tall & 3" in diameter. See photos for further details.
