AN ‘IMARI’ TUREEN AND COVER
Japan, mid 19th century
Circular section, the domed cover with a ring handle, two handles to the sides of the container with moulded maple tree’s leaves, the decoration painted in polychrome enamels consisting of lobed reserves with different kind of compositions, Hichozan Shinpo sei six characters mark to the centre of the base.
