A WOMAN KIMONO
Japan, first half of the 20th century
Irotomesode type, decorated in the lower part with twigs and leaves of maple, accompanied by an under kimono with white and red lining.
Provenance: Italian private collection.
The contrast between the colors of the inner kimono with those of the outer kimono is a typical feature of women's dresses of this period.
