Scarce 1860s Andrew Jackson Rye Lime Glazed 1Gallon Pitcher
Scarce 1860s Andrew Jackson Rye Shop, Lime Glazed One Gallon Pitcher. This is with out a doubt one of the finest lime glaze pitcher from the Rye pottery shop. This is a early squatty form turned by possibly Andrew Jackson Rye of Hamilton Ala. This pitcher has nice coagulation of lime glaze build up with a few lime runs. This is fresh example form a private collection from Hamilton Ala. Condition is basically mint. A small glaze line is in the middle of the handle but is not a hairline or broke spot. No chips cracks or repairs in this example. Standing 9" Tall
