In many counties, including Newcastle, Bray, Enfield, Kilkenny, Edenbridge, Cirencester, etc. Great detail of what occurred on the day. 10" x 7½" red boards, titled in gilt. The book was the property of and entries made by Muriel Bowen who was a journalist, author and Tory politician who hunted with The New Forest Buckhounds 100th pack. She scored her century in 13 countries and including America. Described as the best woman in hounds and was seen with Anne, Duchess of Westminster. Inserted in this volume is correspondence to Miss Bowen from notable people involved in hunting. A very interesting journal and correspondence of the fox hunting scene of the 1950s. UNIQUE.
