Ronald Reagan interesting long vintage ALS dated 5/5/38 saying because the correspondent's is the first letter, he has received from China he is breaking the studio rules by sending a signed photograph (not present) and saying he would like to visit China but will wait awhile due to the current war with Japan ('maybe I am a coward'). Comes with personalised mailing envelope which is to the same correspondent but assumed to relate to another letter or photo as it is post marked 17/12/38. Was an American politician and actor who served as the 40th president of the United States from 1981 to 1989. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
