The map depicts the lower course of the Rhine, Waal, and Meuse rivers, spanning from the area near Rheno Berca (modern Rhenen) to Goricomium (Gorinchem), including the territories of Noviomagense (Nijmegen), the Betuwe region, and the river islands of Tiel and Bommel. It consists of two horizontal panels showing the branching waterways, surrounding towns, and regional borders.
