A RUSSIAN FELDSHER (MEDICAL DOCTOR) SILVER BADGE, CA. 1910
A Badge of Distinction for Doctors who graduated from the Military Medical Academy and were issued the degree of Doctor of Sciences (Doctor of Medicine). The badge was established on February 11, 1871.
The badge is executed in silver with an eagle entwined with oak and laurel branches. At the bottom, there is a golden "Hippocratic" bowl and two golden snakes crawling towards it.
