NOEL-NOEL (1897-1989)
autographed photograph with dedication in French, with two signatures by the French actors M. Vitold and E. Dorsay. A gelatin silver print of Noël-Noël with autographs of the actors Michel Vitold and Elyane Dorsay on the reverse. 18 x 24 cm. Very good condition. Provenance: Private collection, South of France Noël-Noël (born Lucien Noël) was a very popular French actor and screenwriter. He started his career in music halls and cabaret venues and then moved to film from 1931 until 1966. He was most known for playing the role of Joseph Adémai, a beloved comic character with a local accent. Michel Vitold (1915–1994) was a Russian-born French stage and film actor Elyane Dorsay (1920-1992) was a French actress, known for Fugitive from Montreal (1950), Master Love (1946) and L’assassin est à l’écoute (1948).
