Label Artist: MARIE LAURENCIN (1885-1956) Marie Laurencin, an artist closely associated with the avant-garde movements, drew a pair of young bacchantes for the label of Mouton Rothschild 1948, giving them the childlike gravity so often found in her work.

Provenance: Private wine cellar from a Villa in the South of France. (preserved in the cellar with regulated hydrometry and temperature)
