Neil Armstrong.
Astronaute et ingénieur aéronautique américain qui est devenu la première personne à marcher sur la Lune en 1969.
Il était également aviateur naval, pilote d’essai et professeur d’université. Mission Apollo 11, mission du programme spatial américain Apollo. Une incroyable épopée suivie par des centaines de millions de téléspectateurs.
Le 20 juillet 1969 aux USA, (le 21 en France), le monde assiste en direct aux premiers pas de l’homme sur la Lune.
Des trois astronautes américains, seuls Neil Armstrong et Buzz Aldrin ont foulé le sol lunaire.
Michael Collins est resté en orbite.
