SWANSON GLORIA: (1899-1983) American actress, an Academy Award nominee. Signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph of Swanson in a dramatic pose, in costume as Norma Desmond, alongside William Holden, in costume as Joe Gillis, in a scene from the American black comedy film noir Sunset Boulevard (1950). Signed by Swanson in black ink to a light area at the base of the image. It was for her performance in this role that Swanson received the third of her Best Actress Oscar nominations. About EX
