2024 Koala 1 oz .999 Silver Australia $1. The successful Australian Koala series from The Perth Mint has a new design for 2024. This coin is .9999 fine silver and will continue the series' rich tradition and carry on its legacy. Obverse: Artist Dan Thorne's depiction of His Majesty King Charles III and the monetary denomination, "1 Dollar." Reverse: Artist Ing Ing Jong's depiction of a koala on a gum tree branch. Additionally, the inscription "KOALA," the 2024 year-date, and the weight and purity are included in the design. For 2024 only, The Perth Mint includes the special "P125" mint mark, signifying the mint's 125th anniversary. Sovereign coin backed by the Australian government.
