L’opera mostra un linguaggio articolato composto da ricordi rinascimentali e istanze manieriste, quindi va ascritta ad uno dei maestri fiorentini operosi a metà del sedicesimo secolo. Ad una prima disamina, nel Bambino riscontriamo ricordi di Lorenzo di Credi, mentre la postura scomposta di San Giuseppe e la Vergine in severa posizione suggeriscono che l’autore fosse edotto delle novità introdotte da Giorgio Vasari.

The artwork shows an articulated language composed of Renaissance memories and Mannerist instances. Therefore it can be ascribed to one of the industrious Florentine masters in the middle of 16th century. In the Child we find memories of Lorenzo di Credi, while the decomposed posture of St. Joseph and the Virgin in a severe position suggest that the author was aware of the innovations introduced by Giorgio Vasari.
