EARLY PRE-WAR DR. WALTER GERARD COMMERCIAL MODEL K 5.75x RIFLE SCOPE
Early Dr. Walter Gerard Charlottenburg commercial Model K 5.75x rifle scope, Serial #43324, with #4 reticle in very good to fine overall condition. The scope retains traces of thinning original black finish, showing areas of the brass construction with light ring marks, light scratches and scrapes. The rear bell is marked “K” / GERARD” and the serial number is stamped into the right side of the top turret. The adjustment ring at the rear is not turning at the time of description, but appears complete. The scope dates to the 1920’s and shows nice condition for its age. This would look correct in a set of claws on a pre-war commercial Mauser.
