Group of Three Early Masonic Jewels
late 18th-early 19th C, American and English, The first, a Master’s Mark, gilt metal heart-shaped cartouche surrounded by a compass and square, engraved:
“John De La Montanye, Solomon’s Master Mark, Lodge No. 5, Dutchess County” and with additional Masonic imagery throughout.
The next, a coin silver master’s jewel for George Jansen (poss. Bethlehem, Pa), Abram’s Lodge AL 5806 (a.d. 1806) with pierced ribbon with cut and pierced compass and square
The last, a circular 1831 Oddfellows Jewel, profusely engraved with fraternal imagery, the reverse engraved to Bro. Geo. Pettefar, 1831
