Large Portuguese silver tray from Casa Leitão & Irmão, 19/20th century. Rectangular-shaped body, with a scalloped edge decorated with shell motifs and vegetal windings. Engraved and guilloche patterned background, with slightly spiraled buds, with an engraved monogram at the center topped by a count's crown. With two side wings. With Porto contrast (Javali II), 833 thousandths, and Casa Leitão & Irmão goldsmith's mark. Minor dents, scratches and signs of use. Approx. weight: 3648 g.; Comp. approx.: 69.5 cm.
