Early 1900s Carved Wooden Coffee Table
Item SKU: C-9489
c. 1900s/1910s carved antique mahogany table, similar in appearance to Victorian partners desks.
This piece features ornately carved fleur de lis-type scrolls with slightly raised elliptical embellishments between. Lighter shades of red on top caused by years of use are pleasantly contrasted against darker tones throughout. Two drawers sit at the front of either side (one per side) of this piece and feature unique pin-and-scroll construction.
The table sits on four turned and carved legs that feature at least three distinct styles:
The top sits on Greek-inspired columns which are affixed to fluted and tapered bun-type legs, while these sit atop carved cubes that are attached to clawfoot-inspired feet.
Exhibits minor signs of wear including some finish loss and small scratches.
