Japanese Samurai armour components sode or shoulder defense. Edo Period 1603-1868. Consisting of six lames of lacquered steel with blue cotton weaving link together. The top lame with a turned edge and the lower most of a larger plate. The reverse linen and silk lined with an old label. Size 10" H x 8 1/2" W
