There is a bloc of drawings by José Venturelli and text by Pablo Neruda in homage to the victims of the massacre of Bulnes Square, in Santiago de Chile, on the 28th January 1946. Six workers who were demonstrating in the square were killed and many others were injured. José Venturelli’s drawings capture the repression and the victims’ fall at the hands of the soldiers. Neruda’s text accompanies the illustrations. Kept in a red leather and cardboard box. In very good condition.
