Photographic portrait of the grand duke in the uniform of an officer of the Imperial Russian Navy, with an autograph dedication signed in Cyrillic characters at the bottom of the document: "To Peter Sergeevich Botkin, with my best thoughts, Alexander Mikhailovich, 1893", preserved in a beautiful modern black and gold baguette frame. Print mounted on cardboard. Good condition.

Provenance : offered to the minister Pierre Sergueïevitch Botkine (1865-1933), brother of the famous doctor of the same name, attached to the emperor Nicolas II who will perish at the sides of the sovereign assassinated on July 17, 1918 in Ekaterinbourg.
