Vaslav Nijinsky and Tamara Karsavina, playing the roles of Arlequin and Colombine in the ballet "Carnaval", performed in Paris, June 4, 1910.
Bronze with brown patina, signed and dated 1920 on the base, resting on a rectangular black marble base. Copy bearing print no. 2. Good condition.
H. : 38 cm - W. : 30 cm - D. : 21,5 cm.
Provenance : this work was in the dining room of the prince and the princess Felix Youssoupoff in their Parisian residence located at 38 rue Pierre-Guérin, as it can be seen in situation on the photo above.
