LOUIS XIII STYLE ARMCHAIR.
High back in waxed natural wood, with sheepskin bone armrests ending in a scroll, turned front legs and square back legs joined by a carved H-shaped brace.
French work, 19th century.
H.: 116 cm - W.: 57 cm - D.: 55 cm.
Provenance: this armchair comes from the furniture of the castle of Kériolet and was in the living room of the prince and the princess Félix Youssoupoff on the ground floor of their Parisian residence located at 38 rue Pierre-Guérin Another model can also be seen in one of the rooms of the castle in the photo below right.
