SMALL TEASPOONS IN VERMEIL.
By MITROFANOFF, Moscow, 1896-1908.
Set of 12 small vermeil spoons, decorated with floral and arabesque motifs in cloisonné polychrome enamels on an amatized background, framed by a frieze of white enamelled pearls, handle partly twisted and enamelled. Preserved in its original natural wood case, velvet and silk interior, stamped in gold letters with the name of the dealer: "Damaskine in Moscow". Wear and tear, but good condition.
Title mark: 84, Moscow, 1896-1908.
Goldsmith's marks: G. M. : (Gerusim Mitrofanoff, active from 1908 to 1917).
L. : 11,5 cm - Case : L. : 14,5 cm - L. : 26,5 cm.
