"that I have no manuscript yet for the conference on 8 March and that I shall hardly find time to hand in a dictation before the conference, as I shall be completely busy until then. In all probability, it would be possible for me to do so on 9 March at 9.5 a.m. in my flat [...]".
Erich von Drygalski. German geographer, explorer, geophysicist. Between 1901-1903, led the famous German expedition to the South Pole, whose scientific results he published in 20 volumes until 1931.
