Important reliquary crucifix with Jesus Christ crucified, Sinhalese work, from the 18th century. XVII, in ivory. Jesus Christ, of oriental features, is depicted dying, wearing a draped pendant tied to his waist in a knot. She wears long hair that falls over her shoulders and back. Cross in ebony, with terminals and indented copper "INRI" legend. Cross with nine shrines, with relics. It stands on a base cut out with fourteen reliquaries, with relics, the central one with "Agnus Dei" in wax. Reliquaries with a cut and cast copper frame. Traces of gold. Lack of terminals. Small restoration, wear and minor defects. Am. approx. Christ: 54 cm.; Approx. total: 170 cm.
