The Hutschenreuther porcelain factory was founded by the young Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther in 1814 in north-eastern Bavaria. This first private factory in the region, with a lion as its symbol, quickly established itself as a brand of quality, elegance, and tradition. The famous Haute Couture house LEONARD called on the know-how of this German manufacturer for the creation of the tea service with a horse-riding decoration.
