A JEWELLED FRAME FOR MINIATURE, THE HOUSE OF CARL FABERGÉ
the shaped triangle silver-gilt frame, the front is fully covered with white translucent enamel on quilloché background, the shaped oval central part decorated with a border of garnets under imperial crown, surmounted with laurel wreath and four diamonds
stones and granats – shaping imperial crown, above the oval form – 4 diamonds of old type (taille ancienne) on the reverse in vermeil.
Conserved in original box covered with leather, inside silk, velvet Maker’s mark Faberge, assay master’s mark ‘
Hallmark Fabergé, Saint-Pétersb., Moscou et Odessa and above the stamp ‘imperial crown’
