Letter of greeting and Torah ideas written by Rabbi Yaakov Chaim Fleischman, av”d Zsámbék, sent to Rabbi Eliezer Zusman Sofer, teacher in the Chevrat Shas in Budapest and av”d Debrecen, son of Rabbi Yaakov Shalom Sofer who was the brother of the authors of the Yalkut Eliezer and Machaneh Chaim.
Greetings and blessings upon the marriage of Rabbi Zusman’s son and Torah ideas regarding “Rov” and “Chazakah.”

Rabbi Yaakov Chaim Fleischman av”d Zsámbék (c. 1840-1908) was a disciple of the rabbis of Nitra, Rabbi Shlomo Deutsch and Rabbi Yechezkel Banet. He served as Rabbi of Zsámbék for close to fifty years. His printed works include: Etz Chadash – sermons, Etz Chadash on Tractate Gittin and the Meishiv Davar responsa. (Y.
