Pair of bronze sculptures of French playwrights, Moliere and Pierre Corneille. Mounted on marble and bronze bases. Unsigned. 19 1/2"H and 19 1/4"H. Moliere large dent to bronze base at front, minor chips to corners and edges of marble bases on both, Moliere chips to front of marble base, Moliere one hand loose, Corneille losses to patina on face and hand.
