Sefer HaItur, with the Approbation of the Maggid of Kozhnitz. Warsaw, 1801. Pedigree Copy.

Sefer HaItur on the laws of Kiddushin, Gittin, and Ketubot, authored by the early sage Rabbi Yitzchak ben Abba Mari, of blessed memory. Chassidic Edition.

Includes approbations from the founding fathers of Chassidut, written specifically for this edition. Among them, the approbation of the Maggid of Kozhnitz, Rabbi Yitzchak of Radvil, Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Zamosc, and others. Warsaw, 1801. One of the early printings of Warsaw.

Despite the significant weight of Sefer HaItur in halachic rulings in the Tur and Shulchan Aruch, it has been printed only a few times. The book was first printed in Venice, 1608, followed by Constantinople, 1756, and before us is the third edition: Warsaw, 1801.

On the title page, a rabbinic signature: "The humble Yosef Tzvi ben Moreinu HaRav Yehoshua Aryeh Abeles."
Another signature: "The humble Dov Ber, son of the esteemed Rabbi Ze'ev Wolf, may he be blessed."
With the stamp of Rabbi Ben Zion Weisel (Wiesel), Av Beit Din of Torda, one of the greatest rabbis of his generation and president of the Orthodox Rabbinical Bureau of Transylvania.
Additional ownership signatures on the endpaper.
