Eshkolot HaGefen – Seven Discourses on the Parashiyot of Sefer Bereshit, in the Kabbalistic Approach, by the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Landman. Unique Edition. Przemyśl, 5670 [1910].
The author, the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel Landman of Potilich [1840-1918], was the son of the Admor Rabbi Tzvi of Stralisk and the son-in-law of the holy Rabbi Chaim Eliyahu Lieberman of Zolkiew, who was the son-in-law of Rabbi Chanoch Henich of Alesk. He served as Av Beit Din and Admor in Potilich from the age of thirty until his passing.
He was a devoted disciple of the Chassidic masters Rabbi Yitzchak of Neshchiz and Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Komarna. He also authored Limudim B'Nissim, Mishnat HaItim, and more.
His sons succeeded him:
Rabbi Shalom, the Admor of Potilich in Przemyśl.
Rabbi Yitzchak, who initially led in Potilich before relocating to Rava-Ruska.
For more information about him, see: Alfasi, Encyclopedia of Chassidut, Vol. 3, p. 114.
