BYZANTINE BRONZE POLYCANDELON
Ca. AD 500 - 600. A circular hanging bronze lamp or polycandelon. Oil-filled glass vessels once hung from ten round openings, nine set on the interior circular channel and one in the centre. Three chains are set on the external border of the polycandelon. The piece comes with a custom-made stand.
