AN INDO-PERSIAN BATTLE AXE TABARZIN WITH SILVER INLAY, 19TH CEN.
A tabarzin (saddle axe) from the Indo-Persian era. Long iron shaft and blade with a pointed tip and bulbous pommel. The blade is of the double-curved crescent moon style. Decorated with silver inlay on the blade and the top and bottom of the shaft.
Indo-Persia - 19th century.
