AN 18TH CENTURY FRENCH HUNTING DAGGER WITH A FINE HORN GRIP
A nicely made French hunting dagger with a long, straight blade set with a single fuller and the remnants of fine etching at the ricasso. The grip is of finely carved brown horn in a spiraling ribbed design, set beneath a guard of short, brass, s-shaped quillons.
