In a publisher's typeset cover by artist L. Lissitzky. In good condition. Restoration of the spine and cover edges, stains on the title page and in the text block.

The poem, created for the 10th anniversary of the Revolution, was initially titled "October," then "October 25, 1917." The cover reflects all three variants of the title: Khorosho! 25 [Oktyabrya] 1917.

Mayakovsky, Vladimir Vladimirovich (1893-1930) - Russian and Soviet poet, playwright, screenwriter, film director, actor, and artist. One of the most significant Russian poets of the 20th century, a classic of Soviet literature. Editor of the journals "LEF" and "Novy LEF."

Lazar Markovich Lissitzky (pseud. El Lissitzky, 1890-1941) - painter, graphic artist, designer, author of architectural projects, and educator; one of the foremost masters of the Russian avant-garde.
